Job Title: Director of FinanceLocation: Mississauga, Ontario / On-site Job Type: Full-time, PermanentJob Summary: Robert Half Canada is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance on behalf of our client in the manufacturing/automotive components industry. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and operational finance activities. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, business partnership experience, and the ability to support decision-making in a dynamic production environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead the organization's finance and accounting function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementOversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesPrepare and review financial statements and management reportsDevelop and maintain internal controls, policies, and financial proceduresSupport strategic planning and provide financial analysis to senior leadershipPartner with operational leaders to monitor performance, costs, inventory, and profitabilityOversee compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligationsCoordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholdersLead, mentor, and develop finance team membersIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiencyQualifications:Postsecondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related fieldProgressive experience in finance and accounting, including leadership responsibilityStrong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controlsExperience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial,
