We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist experienced drywall finishers in preparing and finishing interior wall surfaces, ensuring a smooth, professional appearance for residential and commercial projects. This position offers an exciting prospect to develop hands-on skills in drywall installation, finishing techniques, and related construction trades. Responsibilities
Support drywall finishers by preparing work areas, including cleaning surfaces and setting up tools and materials.
Assist with taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall surfaces to achieve a seamless look.
Help with measuring, cutting, and fitting drywall panels according to project specifications.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work workplace to ensure safety for all team members.
Learn to read blueprints and construction plans to understand project requirements.
Assist with caulking and sealing joints for a polished final appearance.
Collaborate closely with carpenters, painters,
and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and project progress.
Qualifications
Prior construction experience or familiarity with building trades is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential.
Basic knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, drywall installation, caulking, and blueprint reading is a plus.
Handyman experience or related skills in maintenance work are advantageous.
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good physical stamina for lifting materials, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks.
Robust attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
