Duties
Greet patients and manage the front desk, creating a welcoming environment for all visitors
Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and manage appointment rescheduling using Dentrix or similar software
Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls and taking messages as needed
Maintain accurate patient records within electronic medical records systems
Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries to ensure proper reimbursement
Prepare and organize patient charts, forms, and documentation for clinical staff
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
Support the clinical team by coordinating patient flow and ensuring timely communication between staff members
Qualifications
Proven experience in a dental office or medical office setting, with a knowledge about dental asoftware
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and patient care
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or front desk coordinator preferred
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and scheduling
Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and office equipment
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining professionalism
Solid communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and insurance providers
Office experience that demonstrates reliability, multitasking ability, and customer service excellence
Bilingual: French and English
