We are seeking an experienced and motivated Gas Station Manager to oversee daily operations of our full-service gas station and convenience store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving profitability while upholding company standards and safety protocols.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and supervise all staff members including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
Oversee daily gas station and convenience store operations including fuel deliveries, pricing, and inventory management
Monitor financial performance, cash handling, and reconciliation of daily sales
Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations
Maintain store cleanliness and equipment in proper working condition
Deliver exceptional customer service and address customer concerns promptly
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling shrinkage
Monitor fuel margins, pricing strategies, and competitor activity to maximize profitability
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of experience in retail or gas station management
Proven leadership and staff management experience
Strong mathematical and financial management skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Knowledge of fuel industry operations and pricing
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education preferred
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software
Certification in fuel handling or environmental compliance
Previous experience managing a convenience store or similar retail operation
