We are currently hiring for an experienced shunter for our client in Brampton, ON.
Location: Brampton, ON
Shift- Morning/Afternoon/Overnight
Job Responsibilities:
Move and position trailers, containers, and trucks within the yard as directed.
Perform regular yard checks to monitor trailer locations.
Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and yard staff to ensure productive flow of equipment.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of shunt trucks/trailers.
Complete basic paperwork and maintain accurate records.
Follow all safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents or delays.
Job Requirements:
Valid drivers license
Prior experience of 2 yearsas a shunter is a requirement.
Good backing skills are an asset.
Robust knowledge of secure driving practices and yard operations.
