Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to ensure guests receive timely and quality food service, whether in a restaurant, cafeteria, or catering setting. Previous experience in the food industry, including restaurant or hospitality experience, is highly valued. The Food Service Worker will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and supporting the overall operation of our food service establishment.

Duties
Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders and delivering meals as needed
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
Replenish supplies and ensure all areas are stocked appropriately for service
Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or packaging meals




Handle cash register operations or point-of-sale transactions when required
Follow health and safety guidelines to promote a safe workplace for staff and customers
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements
Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling procedures
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, qualified demeanor
Ability to serve efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with food preparation or barista skills is a plus
Robust teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
Basic understanding of hospitality standards and food industry practices
