We are seeking a couple of hard working and reliable individuals to help out in a busy tire & mechanical shop. Your duties during the busy season will consist mainly of cleaning wheel mounting surfaces, installing tires onto wheels, balancing tire/wheel assemblies, installing tire/wheel assemblies onto vehicles, loading & unloading wheels/tires to/from storage crates, preparation of tires/wheels for installation, performing vehicle inspections, filling out necessary paperwork for tire storage & inventory control, general cleanup, & other duties as requested. We are a fun company to work for and have outstanding culture but the work can be physically demanding, and we place a heavy emphasis on quality work, safety and puncuality/reliability. There are significant bonuses available to seasonal employees who respect the position and their peers by being punctual, and showing up for all scheduled shifts.
This is a seasonal roles, but we would like to have employees return each spring and fall if they enjoyed the people and atmosphere. All training is provided.
Qualifications
Robust mechanical knowledge and experience with automotive repair
Proficient in using hand and power tools
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
Previous experience in a dealership or as a mechanic is preferred
Sales experience is a plus, enhancing customer interactions and service
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
