Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and experience in a rapid-paced restaurant environment, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders
Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock as needed
Ensure all food served meets safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations





Skills
Proven experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently in a rapid-paced setting
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
Good organizational skills with attention to detail for plating and presentation
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude
Prior kitchen or food industry experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of restaurant operations and food service standards is advantageous
