Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Greenhouse Worker to join our team and contribute to the cultivation and maintenance of rose and alstroemeria plants within our greenhouse setting. This role offers an prospect to work hands-on with horticultural processes, supporting the growth of a variety of plants while gaining valuable experience in gardening and greenhouse operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and passionate about plant care and sustainable practices.
Responsibilities
Assist with planting, watering, and fertilizing plants using appropriate irrigation systems
Monitor plant health and identify signs of pests or disease for timely intervention
Operate and maintain gardening tools and mechanical equipment
Support with heavy lifting tasks such as moving soil, plants, or equipment throughout the greenhouse
Assist in pruning, transplanting, and repotting plants as needed to promote healthy growth
Skills
Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and standing for extended periods
Gardening experience or a passion for plant cultivation is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed
