Job Description: As a Dog Care Expert at Good Dog, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our furry clients. Your role is essential in ensuring the well-being and happiness of the dogs in our facility. This is a fast-paced, active job. We are looking for candidates with a positive, can-do attitude, eager to jump in and be a team player.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care and supervision for dogs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Maintain cleanliness in the dog care area, including regular cleaning and sanitizing.
Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners.
Monitor and report any behavioral or health issues to the management team.
Qualifications:
Must be available 3 days per week minimum (one day being on the weekend)
Must be available to start shifts as early as 6am during peak times (must have transportation to facility)
Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
A team player with a can-do attitude
Previous experience in dog care or a related field is preferred
Strong understanding of dog behavior and body language
Certification in pet first aid and CPR is a plus

We are very busy at Christmas and ask that our staff work on 2 of our 4 busiest days: December 24th, 25th, 31st, and January 1st. We try to accommodate all preferences and schedule based on seniority. Are you able to work 2 shifts during this time?
