Crystal Jade Palace is the premium flagship concept of Crystal Jade, an internationally recognized restaurant group founded in Singapore. We are preparing to open at GreenTee Richmond Golf Centre and are seeking experienced Servers to join our opening team.
Our Servers are responsible for delivering attentive, polished and knowledgeable service in a high-end dining environment. The ideal candidate is confident managing a service section, building genuine guest relationships and recommending food, wine and beverages based on each guest’s preferences.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional and attentive table service
Guide guests through the menu and explain dishes clearly
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
Recommend dishes, wine and beverages to enhance the dining experience
Monitor table progress and coordinate the timing of each course
Work closely with the kitchen, bar, hosts and runners
Provide personalized service to members, VIP guests and private dining rooms
Respond to guest requests and concerns professionally
Complete opening,
closing and side-work duties
Maintain dining-room cleanliness, presentation and service standards
Qualifications
Previous serving experience in an upscale or full-service restaurant
Robust communication, organization and guest-service skills
Skilled appearance and a warm, confident manner
Good knowledge of food, wine and beverage service is preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Able to communicate effectively in English
Mandarin or Cantonese is considered an asset
Experience with VIP guests, private dining or membership-based service is an asset
Valid Serving It Right certification
Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
