Cogir Real Estate is seeking a Building Superintendent/Maintenance , to join our multi-residential apartment complex located in Ottawa.

The position(s) will include the following:
Live in position with a Rent-Free Apartment with parking (utilities included)
On-the-job Training
Company cell phone

Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative office duties;
Show vacant apartments to prospective residents;
Leasing
Ensure cleanliness of public areas & corridors;
Prepare apartments for recent residents;
Completing Move In and Move Out Inspections;
Facilitate work orders and perform minor maintenance;
Other grounds maintenance;
Addressing resident concerns effectively and promptly;




Always maintaining positive safety and security;
Respond appropriately and professionally to emergencies;
Maintain fire safety and winter logs;
Follow an "on call" schedule;
Special projects;
Other duties as assigned by Manager

Essential Skills:
Customer Service
Experienced individual with maintenance/handyman skills, plastering, plumbing, electrical, flooring & tiling, carpentry, appliance installation - Own tools is an asset;
Robust maintenance and trades background;
Experienced Individual in Administration;
Computer Knowledge (Email, Word, Excel);
Experience with Yardi and Building Stack an asset;
Oral communication;
Working with others;
Minimum of 2 years of experience
