LEGAL ASSISTANT
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage and conduct new client calls and intakes and prepare Contingency Fee Agreements.
Draft and prepare correspondence.
Process production requests.
Manage undertakings.
Coordinate and schedule Examinations for Discovery and Mediations.
Respond to client inquiries professionally and promptly.
Organize and maintain client files to meet deadlines and ensure efficient case processing.
Handle incoming mail and emails while managing the daily calendar.
Perform other general administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of personal injury experience
Successful completion of a Legal Assistant program
TimeMatters/Primafact/ACL experience is an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Responsive and proactive with ability to work both independently and in a quick-paced, team-oriented setting
