Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our dental practice. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our dental instruments and equipment. This is a full time position Monday to Friday. The hours are: Monday to Friday 7:30 until 4:30.
Responsibilities:
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols
Clean, disinfect treatment rooms in between patients
Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock as needed
Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment to ensure proper functioning
Follow infection control guidelines to prevent the spread of disease
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
Previous experience as a Sterilization Technician or in a similar role preferred but not required
Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques preferred but not required
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is an asset
