Seeking a Nurse for a busy family doctors' office in Meaford
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, positive, detail-oriented RPN to join our small tight knit team at the Don Bumstead Clinic in Meaford.
4 days/ week, no weekends or holidays, versatile for days off
8am-3:30pm (7hr/ day)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Combination of Nursing and Front Desk roles
Assist with minor procedures & wound care
Provide vaccinations & other injections
Provide health advise & results (under physician direction)
Triage patient needs
Schedule appointments / Answer phones
Collect payments
Organize incoming documents
Input billing codes to OHIP
Keep inventory of office supplies & order stock
Efficiently respond to patient inquiries & promptly move to the next task
Other duties as required
Qualifying Skills:
RPN license (required)
Solid administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail
Desire to learn and take on more roles as able
Effective communication with patients, hospitals, & physician offices
Ability to work collaboratively with our small team
Sensitivity towards the handling of personal health information
Composed demeanour and positive attitude and while interacting with patients of all different backgrounds
Ideal Prior Experience:
Roles in a Clinic
Front desk experience
Experience with EMR (Accuro)
Keen to learn
