Work includes engine teardowns, gearbox rebuilds, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting, and component replacement. Requirements:
Must-haves:
Approximately 5+ years hands-on experience working on equipment (diesel, gas, electrical, hydraulics, or track units)
Valid driver's license
Ability to read manuals and follow technical procedures (e.g., bolt sequences, torque specifications)
Own set of metric and standard hand tools
Maturity and demonstrated work ethic
Cultural fit with collaborative team environment
Nice-to-haves:
Equipment technician certifications or licenses (310S, 310T, 421A)
Background from rental companies (United Rentals, Brandt, Strongco, etc.) or landscaping/construction companies
Formal apprenticeship or technical training completion
Experience with gearbox, engine, transmission,
or hydraulic component diagnostics and repair
Compensation & Advantages:
Wage range: $35$50/hour
Overtime: Available after 42.5-hour weekly threshold (13 hours/week summer 1015 hours/week fall)
Annual bonus structure
$250 work boot allowance per year

Hours:
Two rotating shifts: 7 AM4 PM and 8 AM5 PM (alternating weeks)

On-call work primarily shop-based with occasional field support post-repair
Seasonal variance in overtime (higher fall/winter, minimal summer)
