We are seeking a energetic and dedicated Class 1 Driver to join our transportation team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty commercial vehicles. This position demands the ability to take responsibility to safely execute the work in a prompt and efficient manner.
Must ensure a secure work setting in compliance with all safety policies and procedures, adhere to all company policies and provincial regulations for safe working procedures and setting.
Minimum 1 year experience.
Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks,
adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels
Perform minor vehicle repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure optimal vehicle performance
Skills
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
1 year experience operating heavy trucks and freight transportation vehicles
Solid communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance
