LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Full-Time | On-Call Component

Position Overview

Green Earth Organics is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage and coordinate the movement of fresh produce and related goods. The ideal candidate understands time-sensitive transportation and ideally brings experience in food, produce or refrigerated logistics.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation and carrier activity.

· Schedule pickups and deliveries and monitor loads from origin through delivery.

· Communicate with carriers, suppliers, customers, dispatch, procurement and warehouse teams.

· Track shipments and proactively address delays, missed appointments or transportation issues.

· Review freight documentation and support freight-cost accuracy.

· Coordinate temperature-sensitive and time-sensitive shipments.

· Maintain accurate logistics records and performance information.

· Assist with cross-border transportation and documentation as required.





· Participate in an on-call rotation/component to address urgent after-hours logistics issues.

Qualifications

· Previous logistics, transportation or supply-chain experience required.

· Food, produce, refrigerated or perishable-goods experience strongly preferred.

· Cross-border Canada/U.S. transportation experience is a solid asset.

· Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

· Comfortable handling urgent situations and participating in an on-call component.
