Class 1 Truck Driver

Sunset Recycles & Sales Ltd. is looking for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Position Details
Position: Class 1 Truck Driver
Schedule: Monday – Friday (weekends as needed)
Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta
Employment Type: Full-Time

Requirements
Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
2–3 years of commercial driving experience
Experience operating standard/manual transmission trucks
Experience driving between a town yard and oil & gas sites
Must be comfortable driving to and from remote or industrial work sites
Must be able to successfully complete a drug and alcohol test
Strong commitment to protected driving and workplace safety
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Valuable communication skills
Ability to follow site procedures and safety requirements

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 trucks between the town yard and oil & gas sites




Complete daily vehicle inspections and required documentation
Secure and transport materials safely
Follow all company and site-specific safety procedures
Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the assigned vehicle
Communicate effectively with yard staff, supervisors, and site personnel
Report any vehicle, equipment, or safety concerns immediately
