Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of garage doors, openers, and related hardware.
Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks accurately and efficiently under supervision.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job for accurate reporting.
Skills
Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools used in construction and repair work.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Previous experience in construction is a requirement.
Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail during restoration or repair tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while following safety guidelines.
Ability to work at heights using extension ladders and scissor lifts.
Willingness to learn recent skills related to garage door systems and general construction processes.
Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions throughout the day.
