We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Crown Order Picker to join our rapid-paced warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and preparing orders for shipment using specialized equipment such as order pickers, cranes, forklifts, and clamp trucks. Your expertise in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management will ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Duties
Operate order pickers, cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely to select items from high shelves and designated storage areas
Load and unload shipments using appropriate heavy machinery while adhering to safety protocols
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company standards
Manage inventory movement within the warehouse using warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels and locations
Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all inbound and outbound goods are correctly documented and stored
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining a protected work environment
Skills
Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related logistics roles
Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation including cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, and other warehouse machinery
Solid understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order tracking
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Construction or industrial experience is a plus for understanding load handling and safety procedures
Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes to ensure accurate documentation and timely dispatching of goods
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team dedicated to safety and productivity
