In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.

Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities diligently
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment
Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare specialists or family members




Support clients with mobility devices and assistive tools to ensure safe movement within their workplace

Skills
Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments, past customer experience also considered
Background in senior care, including experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care needs is an asset
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols a asset
Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to client needs
Ability to perform light cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards
Positive communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, clients, and families

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 30.0 per week
