Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Schedule:

This is a full time work from Monday to Friday. No partial availability - you must be legally able to work 40 hours per week. You must be able to work full time for the next foreseeable one year.

Duties:
Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen staff
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
Lift and move goods
Help with receiving and storing deliveries
Support kitchen staff in various tasks as required

Requirements:
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
Food Protected Level 1 Certificate preferred
Must be able to lift up to 23 kgs regularly
Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
Ability to work collaboratively in a quick-paced team environment
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
Strong English listening and speaking skills





Nice-to-Have Skills:
Class 5 Driver License
Experience in food service or meal preparation
Familiarity with food industry standards and practices
Basic kitchen skills or interest in culinary arts
