S3 Concrete Inc. is looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker / Loader Operator to join our team.
This position is primarily focused on operating a front-end loader, maintaining the yard, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our ready-mix concrete plant.
Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader to load and move aggregates and materials
Load and organize sand, gravel, and other aggregates in the yard
Keep the yard, stockpiles, loading areas, and equipment clean and organized
Assist with general yard and plant duties as required
Load and unload materials as required
Assist with cleanup and general maintenance around the plant and yard
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work workplace
Perform other duties as required to support plant operations
Qualifications & Experience
Previous loader experience is preferred
Experience working in a concrete, aggregate, construction, or industrial environment is an asset
Ability to safely operate heavy equipment
Valuable understanding of workplace safety procedures
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Valid driver's licence is an asset
Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch, plant operators, and management
