Machine Operator

Location: Mississauga, ON

Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to operate and maintain production machinery safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience operating machinery, mechanical aptitude, and a robust commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
Operate machinery including rotary die cutters, flat bed die cutters, roll slicers, and flash cutters.
Set up machines and perform test runs before production.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as required.
Inspect finished products for quality and defects.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain production and maintenance records.
Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Load and unload materials from machines, warehouses, and trailers.
Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns.
Support the team with other production duties as required.

Requirements
Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing workplace.




Basic understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read work instructions/drawings and measurement devices.
Solid attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Good time management, punctuality, and attendance.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is an asset.

Preferred Skills
Experience with CNC machinery or CNC programming.
Knowledge of PLC systems.
Forklift certification is an asset.
Experience working with foam, silicone, felt, or other non-metallic materials.
Relevant equipment training.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
