Eggspress and Parea Restaurant are a busy, family-owned breakfast and lunch and dinner restaurant in Orleans. We are looking for an experienced, dependable Line Cook who is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen and can confidently handle a busy breakfast service as well as dinner service/
Previous restaurant line experience is required.
What we're looking for
The right candidate will:
Have at least 2 years of line-cook experience in a busy restaurant
Be comfortable preparing eggs, omelettes, Eggs Benedict, breakfast meats, potatoes, sandwiches as well as greek in the evening.
Be able to manage multiple orders and tickets at the same time
Work quickly while maintaining food quality and presentation
Have robust knife, prep and kitchen organization skills
Understand proper food handling, sanitation and food-safety procedures
Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Remain organized and calm during high-volume breakfast and weekend rushes
Be able to work independently without constant supervision
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
