An established Alberta based construction contractor is looking for an experienced Construction Equipment Operator to join its field operations team.

This is a hands-on position supporting a variety of outdoor construction and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will primarily operate a digger derrick/auger truck, while also assisting with general construction activities as part of a field crew.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically comfortable, and willing to contribute wherever needed to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a digger derrick/auger truck on construction sites
Assist with drilling, excavation, material placement, and site preparation
Perform general construction and physical labour duties
Operate a variety of hand and power tools
Assist with the operation of smaller construction equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators
Load, unload, move, and position materials and equipment
Work with other crew members to complete assigned daily work




Follow company and site-specific safety requirements
Complete routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
Maintain an organized and safe work area
Support other construction activities as required

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience operating a digger derrick, auger truck, or similar equipment
Valid Alberta Class 3 or Class 5Q Driver’s Licence
Clean 5-year commercial driver’s abstract
Previous construction or utility-related experience is an asset
Comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work
Solid safety awareness and dependable work habits
Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and out-of-town assignments

Pay: $31.00-$36.00 per hour
