On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior for a 6-month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
The role involves leading large-scale systems testing with a focus on automated testing and ensuring compliance with AODA standards. The specialist will work on high-impact projects within a agile setting, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure system quality and accessibility.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
Provide advice on testing strategy, test plans, and tool selection
Plan and organize testing efforts for large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments
Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and cases
Execute functional, integration, system, and regression tests
Identify, document, and track software defects
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
Conduct performance, stress, and load testing
Ensure compliance with AODA standards

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:




10+ years of experience in software testing in enterprise-level IT environments
Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools
Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium or Postman
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
Experience in creating and maintaining test strategies and reports
Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with OPS or public sector
Knowledge of programming languages
Familiarity with information retrieval packages
Understanding of object-oriented testing methods
Experience with Commercial Off-the-Shelf Applications (COTS)

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

ASAP.
