Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard license *NON-NEGOTIABLE
CPR and First Aid Certification
Valid drivers licence, and reliable transportation
Willing to travel for work to multiple sites and locations
Flexible availability, days, overnights, evenings
Fluency in English (verbal and written) with a robust emphasis on legible and detailed shift reports
Able to work independently and part of a team
Able to follow commands by site supervisors and/or managers
Able to work sitting, standing, walking or remaining in a vehicle for long periods of time
Abide by Health & Safety protocols
Strong customer service skills
Able to work well under pressure
The following will be considered assets but are not required:
Smart-serve certification
Any Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) training
Education in security or law enforcement
Previous experience in security

Site access and control

Securing assigned post
