Job Summary

The Inventory Support position is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day production tracking of parts for a value stream is documented, updated and tracked, as well as ensuring the correct parts are where they need to be. Work is divided unpredictably between computer work and physical/forklift work day-by-day.

Job Duties

· Collect production data and enter into excel;

· Support supervisors and production data team with tracking part quantities and locations;

· Prepare and submit various production-related reports;

· Inventory control;

· Collaborate with various departments, fabrication, engineering and other departments to improve production flow;

· Manually move parts when required by hand or forklift;

· Complete any special projects and requests as required. May be assigned to other areas of operation based on business or customer requirements;

· Observe all legislated H&S; regulations (including OHSA & WSIB) as well as established workplace safety procedures.

Job Requirements

· Solid Microsoft Excel experience;

· Solid mechanical aptitude;

· Experience with Epicor is an asset;





· Ability to read work orders

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;

· Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time

· Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds

· Able to operate a forklift

· Able to multi-task projects and meet production deadlines.
