We are seeking an Electronic Assembler for a client in Port Coquitlam. The ideal candidate will have a robust mechanical and electrical aptitude, capable of assembling electronic components and systems according to engineering instructions.
Responsibilities:
Performing electro-mechanical assembly and other related electronic assemblies
Following assembly procedures for the repair and refurbishment of tablets and other assemblies
Adhering to detailed assembly instructions to complete tasks
Soldering and assembling wire assemblies
Using hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, wire strippers, and crimping tools
Assisting in material kiƫng and inventory as needed
Labeling, cleaning, and final packaging of products
Performing various tests following test procedures
Ensuring products meet standards and documentation requirements.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Technical manufacturing background (minimum 1 year)
Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 is a definite asset
Knowledge of component identification
Proficiency in soldering and de-soldering
Ability to use a computer
Knowledge of component handling and ESD requirements
Strong problem-solving skills
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30pm
