THE TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
Design and define aircraft structures: concepts, 3D models, assemblies, detail and installation drawings, metallic and composite parts, fasteners, interfaces and tolerances.
Ensure structural integration with various disciplines (loads & stress, systems, aerodynamics, materials, manufacturing, interiors, quality, etc.) and resolve complex geometric and technical issues.
Ensure robust design solutions by considering load paths, manufacturability, assembly, inspection, maintainability, weight and cost.
Support certification, production and in-service activities through technical substantiation, problem-solving, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Manage design changes and maintain accurate, traceable design and configuration data within the applicable PLM environment.
Act as a technical authority for complex structural and integration issues, guide design strategies and provide technical recommendations to management.
Contribute to the development of technical expertise through mentoring, knowledge transfer, standards, governance and technical alignment.
