Overview
We are looking for an experienced Automotive & Truck Mechanic to join our team and provide high-quality repair and maintenance services on cars, pickup trucks, diesel trucks, and gas-powered vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with a wide range of vehicles, solid diagnostic abilities, and the capability to perform both routine services and complex repairs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy shop environment and takes pride in delivering reliable, skilled results.

Duties
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues using diagnostic tools and schematics
Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, brakes, tire services, tune-ups, fluid checks, and filter replacements
Service and repair gas and diesel engines for cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, and light/medium-duty trucks
Troubleshoot and repair suspension systems, steering components, exhaust systems, and drivetrain issues
Conduct engine repairs, transmission work, and other advanced mechanical tasks as required
Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and basic welding equipment
Interpret and follow technical manuals, schematics, and repair procedures
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed,



parts used, and recommendations
Ensure all repairs meet safety guidelines and manufacturer standards
Communicate clearly with customers or supervisors about repair needs, timelines, and recommendations

Qualifications
Proven experience as an automotive or truck mechanic (minimum 3 years)
Strong understanding of gasoline and diesel engines
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
Skilled with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic scanners, and repair techniques
Capable of safely lifting heavy components and working in a fast-paced shop setting
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with customers or team members
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license required (DZ or higher is an asset but not required)
Own tools preferred, but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
