Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly to support productive kitchen operations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
Assist with food handling, storage, and rotation to ensure freshness and safety
Support cooking tasks under supervision, including basic food preparation and plating
Help with dishwashing, cleaning of kitchen areas, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and cash handling when required
Provide friendly guest services by assisting servers or taking simple customer orders in some settings
Skills
Previous food service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
Robust understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
Experience with food preparation, cooking, and basic meal assembly
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Hospitality background or hotel experience is a plus, especially in guest-facing roles like serving or barista work
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills related to food handling, meal prep, and kitchen operations
