Our family-run bakery in Scarborough is looking for production workers to join our team. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work, we'd love to hear from you!
What you'll do:
Weigh and measure ingredients according to recipes and mix dough using commercial mixers
Operate bakery equipment, including dough sheeters and kneading machines
Shape and assemble pastries by hand
Work on the production line, handling and moving products between stations
Pack finished products into boxes for sale or shipping
Check products for consistent size, shape, and appearance
Clean equipment and work areas, and follow food safety and sanitation procedures
What we're looking for:
Solid attention to detail
Experience in a bakery, pastry, or food production setting is an asset,
but we're willing to train the right person
Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 45 lbs, and keep up in a fast-paced environment
Available for early morning and weekend shifts
Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset
Food Handler Certificate is an asset
