Qualifications – Ontario Healthcare Facility (Northern Ontario)
Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
Minimum 2 years of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
Current BLS and CPR certifications required
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 1 month + extension
Accommodations: Provided

Overtime: Applicable after 37.5h/week

Responsibilities:
Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) are required to adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Provide nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care setting
Administer medications and monitor resident responses to treatment
Maintain accurate resident documentation and reports
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support resident care plans
Ensure compliance with LTC regulations, infection control practices, and safety standards

Note:



Duties may vary slightly based on facility needs and shift requirements. Full orientation will be provided onsite.

Experience:
2 years of relevant Canadian Long-Term Care experience (required)
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Robust clinical judgment and adaptability in a quick-paced environment

Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Robust time management and organizational abilities
Attention to detail for documentation and resident care
Compassion, patience, and professionalism when supporting residents and families
