Position Overview Service Recent Brunswick (SNB) is seeking an experienced

Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst

to support the Digital Transformation initiatives within the Department of Social Development.

Social Development has been using

Salesforce technology since 2022

to support the delivery of social services, including service applications, client needs assessments, care plans, monitoring, and reporting.

The successful QA Analyst will play a

leadership role in ensuring the quality, stability, reliability, and performance of Salesforce-based applications , with particular emphasis on

Salesforce Health Cloud and Service Cloud .

The resource will be responsible for developing and executing

manual and automated test cases, test plans, regression testing, integration testing, data validation, defect management, QA reporting, and quality strategy . The QA Analyst will work closely with development teams, business stakeholders, product owners, and support teams and will participate in requirement reviews to identify potential defects early in the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive

QA strategies and test plans .

Participate in the development of project-level test plans and QA procedures.

Review business and technical requirements and perform

requirements/gap analysis .

Identify potential defects and quality risks early in the SDLC.

Establish appropriate approaches for

manual versus automated testing .

Create and maintain QA reports, testing documentation, and quality metrics.

Test Case Development & Execution

Design, develop, document, maintain, and execute

manual and automated test cases .

Perform functional and non-functional testing.

Execute test cases for Salesforce releases, upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality.

Maintain repositories of manual and automated test cases based on requirements and change requests.

Develop and maintain performance testing initiatives in accordance with QA best practices.

Test Salesforce

Test complex

Case Management and workflow automation

within Salesforce data models.

Validate Salesforce CRM business processes, configurations, workflows, and functionality.

Test Salesforce access, permissions, roles, profiles, sharing, and security models.

Validate complex CRM data objects and business rules.

Test Salesforce features and functionality against established best practices.

Data & Integration Testing

Perform testing related to

data integrity and data quality .

Validate complex CRM data objects and associated data-quality rules.

Participate in

data migration testing , including test planning, execution, reconciliation, and validation.

Validate data accuracy before, during, and after migration.





Perform end-to-end integration testing between Salesforce/CRM and external systems.

Validate interfaces, integrations, data exchanges, and downstream/upstream system interactions.

Salesforce OmniStudio The successful candidate must understand the basic implementation and testing of

Salesforce OmniStudio , including:

FlexCards

OmniScripts

DataRaptors

Integration Procedures

Expression Sets

Decision Matrices / Decision Metrics

Automation & Tools

Develop and execute automated tests where appropriate.

Experience with QA/testing tools such as:

Selenium

Support the selection, design, maintenance, and execution of automated testing solutions.

Agile / Scrum

Perform manual and regression testing within

Agile/Scrum software development environments .

Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demonstrations, requirement reviews, and quality review sessions.

Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, product owners, business users, and other QA resources.

Identify, document, prioritize, track, and manage defects through resolution.

Maintain accurate defect records and update testing status daily.

Provide written status and progress reports as required.

Communicate testing progress, risks, issues, and quality concerns to project stakeholders.

Participate in quality review sessions and project/release meetings.

User Acceptance Testing & Knowledge Transfer

Support and assist business users with

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) .

Participate in solution design, product demonstrations, and reviews.

Provide QA expertise to cross-functional project teams.

Cross-train other QA testers and support knowledge transfer to ensure continuity within the project team.

Requirements Mandatory Qualifications & Experience Candidates

must clearly demonstrate ALL mandatory requirements below . Candidates who cannot demonstrate these requirements may be disqualified.

M1 – Education

University degree in

Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline ,

OR

Certification in Information Technology from a recognized community college.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

M2 – 10+ Years QA / Testing Experience Minimum

10 years of testing experience

writing and executing test cases across multiple testing types, including:

Functional testing

Non-functional testing

Performance testing

Connectivity testing

Integration testing

Regression testing

Candidates should be able to demonstrate this experience through specific projects and dates.

M3 – Salesforce Health Cloud Minimum

2 years of experience in a tester/QA role

executing test plans and test cases specifically for

Salesforce Health Cloud features .

This is a critical requirement. General Salesforce testing experience alone is not sufficient. Must hold a

recognized Salesforce Administrator Certification .

M5 – Health / Human Services Testing Demonstrated experience performing QA/testing within

health or human services organizations/business environments .

Experience should clearly identify the client/project, dates, responsibilities, and testing performed.

M6 – QA Strategy, Reports & Test Plans Minimum

5 years of experience :

Creating and owning QA reports

Maintaining QA procedures and documentation

M7 – Communication Excellent

written and oral English communication skills , with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, project managers, and end users.

Scored / Preferred Qualifications The successful candidate should demonstrate strong experience in

all of the following areas :

S1 – SaaS / PaaS QA Test Plans Experience developing and executing

Quality Assurance Test Plans for Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) / Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products or solutions .

Candidates must be able to provide at least

one detailed project reference , including:

Client organization name

Client contact name

Client contact telephone number

Project start and end dates

Candidate's QA role and responsibilities

S2 – Testing & Automation Tools – 4+ Years Minimum

4 years of experience

writing and executing tests using testing and automation tools such as:

Selenium

Candidates should be able to clearly describe the scope of testing performed using these tools.

within
