Employment Requirements
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience: On-the-job training will be fully provided. Candidates with 0 to 6 months of experience are welcome to apply.
Certificates/Licenses (Optional but recommended): First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, or training program in care of persons with disabilities.
Security & Safety: Criminal record check, Vulnerable sector check.

Job Duties (NOC 44101 & Disability Support Focused)
Provide specialized personal care, bedside care, and companionship for adult clients with varying physical or intellectual disabilities in their private residences.
Assist clients with daily living activities, including protected transfers, ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing or undressing.
Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and special diets customized to the clients' dietary plans, and assist with feeding as required.




Perform routine health-related duties under the general direction of an agency supervisor or community health nurse, such as assisting with the self-administration of oral medications and monitoring vital signs.
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary living workplace by performing light housekeeping duties, including laundry, washing dishes, and making beds.
Document and report daily observations, behavioral changes, or shifts in the client’s physical and mental well-being directly to the home care agency clinical supervisor.

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities
Rapid-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
Physically demanding, including a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Weight handling may require lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
