Job Summary
We're expanding across rural Alberta and are looking for Registered Nurses to complete home health assessments in clients' homes. Many of our clients are workers recovering from workplace injuries or surgery. You'll assess each client's needs, build their care plan, and work with our home support team to make sure it's carried out well. This is a casual role with flexible hours, close to home, and with direct support from our clinical leadership.

Responsibilities:
Conduct in-home assessments to determine each client's care needs
Develop and document individualized care plans based on assessment findings
Complete reassessments as client needs change
Communicate assessment results and recommendations to the Sterling Health care team, case managers, and treating physicians
Coordinate with and provide direction to LPNs and home support staff to ensure care plans are carried out
Provide basic nursing care, including easy wound care and dressing changes, as needed
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and reports

Qualifications:




Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
Minimum 2 years of community or home care nursing experience
Comfortable conducting independent assessments in clients' homes
Robust clinical judgment and documentation skills
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (travel within the community required)
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Experience with WCB or injured worker programs is an asset

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
