Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Program Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating setting for young children. This role requires effective communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and community members.

Location: Satellites of West Ferris Day Nursery

Hours of Operation: Shift Between 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, Potential for split shift

Wage: Competitive wage, plus WEG + Vacation Pay

Qualifications:
Current VSC
Current Standard First Aid & Infant/Child CPR - WSIB Approved
Valid Ontario driver's license and daily access to a reliable vehicle
Respect of confidentiality
Working knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act
Working knowledge of How Does Learning Happen document
Experience working in a child care setting is considered an asset

Duties (but not limited to):
Demonstrate continuous ethical and professional behaviour
Demonstrate continuous Qualified Learning
Demonstrate regular attendance
Implement HDLH and support planning




Implement Ministry guidelines under the CCEY act
Maintain profiles and protocols for children in group
Demonstrate flexibility, dependability and ability to work as a team member
Ensure policies and procedures of the West Ferris Day Nursery are adhered to
Promote health, safety and well-being of all children
Support positive and responsive relationships with families and children
