Position: Intermediate Mechanical Designer

Location: Ajax, Ontario

Role / Responsibilities:

· Produce 3D model parts and assemblies of industrial silencers and exhaust components using SOLIDWORKs.

· Review project specifications to produce proposal layout drawings for customers.

· Prepare complete fabrication package including welding detail drawings, bill of material, and DXF/Flat patterns for each project.

· Contribute towards research and development of current products and prototype testing

· Maintain an organized filing system for all CAD and project files

· Continuously improve engineering process

Knowledge and Requirement:





· Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related

· Experience working in fast paced manufacturing environment

· Minimum 3-year experience working on SOLIDWORKS or other CAD software

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel

· Experience in mechanical design and manufacturing processes

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Exceptional time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic setting

· Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail

· Must be local to the GTA area
