Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day operations across multiple residential and commercial job sites. The ideal candidate has strong technical carpentry skills, proven leadership abilities, and a commitment to safe, high‑quality work.
Responsibilities
Oversee carpentry crews and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
Coordinate daily tasks, assign work, and monitor progress across active sites
Perform hands‑on carpentry work including framing, finishing, and general construction tasks
Conduct site inspections, enforce safety protocols, and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Communicate with project managers, clients, and trades to resolve issues and maintain workflow
Track materials, tools, and inventory; ensure efficient use of resources
Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback to junior staff
Qualifications
3+ years carpentry experience; supervisory experience preferred
Robust knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices
Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions
Work is performed on active construction sites and may require working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
May involve lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), standing or kneeling for long periods.
Must adhere to strict safety protocols and wear protective equipment at all times.
