We are looking to fill 2 - ELECTRICAL JOURNEY-PERSON / IP RED SEAL ELECTRICIANS positions for Commercial Work - Foreman / Lead Hand:

We perform commercial / institutional electrical work to the construction industry in the greater Vancouver area.

Key Responsibilities:
Site Leadership: Run commercial renovation projects ($10K–$500K) efficiently, safely, and on schedule.
Crew Direction & Mentorship: Supervise small site crews, assign daily tasks, and actively train and mentor registered electrical apprentices.
Technical Execution: Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, single-line diagrams, and architectural plans.
Coordination & Admin: Handle day-to-day site coordination with general contractors, project managers, and inspectors. Track time, material orders, and basic site documentation using Word and Excel.
Safety & Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to the current Canadian Electrical Code (CEC / BC Electrical Code) and WorkSafeBC standards. Conduct site hazard assessments and toolbox talks.

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Proven experience in commercial and institutional installations.



Prior experience as a Lead Hand or Foreman is an asset.
Driver’s License: Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
Technical & Computer Skills: Familiarity with basic digital reporting tools (MS Office: Excel, Word, email).
Safety Focused: Current safety certifications (OFA Level 1, Fall Protection, WHMIS) preferred or willingness to obtain them.
Interpersonal Skills: Clear communication, solid problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented, level-headed leadership style.
