This is temporaly, seasonal job 40 hours per week + overtime (we are paing 50% more overtime for some weekends in November and December).

The Gift Basket Assembler position requires standing on your feet for long hours and to be in valuable physical condition. At times it is required to work quickly and accurately and to work together as a team and at other times solo.

Task Description

Gift basket assembly requires products to be made quickly from a prototype or picture. This includes:
Preparing baskets for assembly by filling containers
Add the products to the baskets
Ensure consistency of baskets assembled and all items properly positioned
Move the basket to shipping department
Some light lifting required, up to 30 lbs
Must meet production targets set by management

Requirements:

-Positive motor skills
You have to stand on your feet for long hours at a time
Good oral communication skills
Attention to detail
Must be a Canadian Permanent Resident or Citizen (or possess a working visa).
Working in compliance with the responsibilities as outlined in the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and Industrial Regulations and with the company’s safe practices and procedures.
