Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Asphalt Labourer to join our team and contribute to paving projects that enhance community infrastructure. This role offers an exciting chance to gain hands-on construction experience, operate heavy equipment, and be part of a rapid-paced, energetic work environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and ready to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and cleanup of paving sites, ensuring a secure and efficient work workplace
Load, unload, and distribute materials such as asphalt, gravel, and other construction supplies
Operate heavy equipment such as rollers, skid steers, or compactors under supervision
Spread asphalt using shovels or rakes to ensure proper leveling and compaction
Support the team in setting up traffic control measures for safety during paving operations
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work site throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards
Qualifications
Previous paving experience is required; on-going training will be provided for the right candidate
Ability to operate heavy equipment such as rollers or skid steers is a plus
Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and teamwork
Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
Willingness to learn paving techniques and follow detailed instructions

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
