This placement offers you the opportunity to gain experience in a people-related role, such as Employee Relations, Reward, Performance & Talent or Business Partnering.

During your placement, you will make a meaningful contribution to a key people-related activity or project, whilst building valuable business, stakeholder, and organisation skills. You will have the chance to get involved in fundraising activities and participate in training with our Emerging Talent team. To ensure you have the best experience, you will be allocated with a graduate buddy, who will share their insights and experiences. Additionally, you will have a specialised Placement Intern Manager alongside your Line Manager to oversee your progress and help you gain valuable exposure to the People Team.

Centrica operates a Flexible First approach which means giving colleagues the flexibility they need to carry out their role in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. While we work in a hybrid manner - from the office and at home, we believe that having face time at work is incredibly important for growth and development. You'll work flexibly throughout the programme, with your main office location being London/Berkshire.
