Interim Vice President, FinanceRole: Interim VP FinanceDuration: 6 months ContractWork Model: Hybrid, 3 days onsiteLocation: Toronto Downtown/Yorkville AreaPosition OverviewWe are seeking an interim Vice President, Finance.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this individual will oversee the finance function and provide leadership across reporting, planning, controls, audit, and broader finance operations. The role requires someone who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, while supporting business priorities in a fast-moving environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the finance function across reporting, planning, controls, and audit executionOversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for senior leadership and other key stakeholdersDirect the annual budget process, forecasting cycles, and financial planning.Maintain a strong financial control environment and support sound governanceLead year-end financial statement preparation and manage external audit activityOversee cash management, liquidity planning, and treasury-related responsibilitiesProvide oversight for tax filings and related compliance requirementsReview contracts and provide financial oversight related to vendors, procurement, and commercial commitmentsMentor, lead, and develop the finance team while driving accountability and strong performanceRequired BackgroundCPA designation requiredUniversity degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related fieldProgressive senior finance leadership experience within complex, fast-paced organizationsStrong expertise across financial reporting, controllership, planning and analysis, audit, cash management,
