The maintenance Assistant will report to the Maintenance Manager and assist the manager in ensuring that the entire building runs efficiently and smoothly. The Maintenance Assistant must follow health and safety protocols at all times. You should be able to work alone with minimum supervision. You will have general knowledge in drywall, painting, electrical and be able to apply this knowledge in guest room repairs as well as replacement of furniture and fixtures inside the guestrooms and all public spaces.

The Maintenance Assistance is a member of the hotel's team and may be called upon to perform additional duties as required.
Handy, in multiple senses. Able to fix a variety of objects, and research what you do not understand
Always willing to help, performing any duty required to ensure that a guest has a positive experience at the hotel
A cooperative person,



comfortable working in tandem with colleagues and external suppliers to prevent problems or resolve them in a timely manner
Painting experience is essential
Painting Skill is a Must
Carpentry experience is a value-added
Energetic and inspiring, an example for others to follow in terms of the dedication they show for their work
Creative - always able to find a solution to foreseen and unforeseen problems
Ability to paint and perform drywall repairs
Perimeter ground keeping of the property
Attention to detail is essential
Willing to learn

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
