Duties
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for meals
Support cooking processes by following recipes and instructions to ensure quality and consistency
Maintain high standards of food handling and safety protocols at all times
Serve food efficiently to customers or staff while ensuring presentation meets standards
Keep the kitchen clean and organized by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces,
and disposing of waste properly
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working setting for everyone
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience with meal preparation in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
Strong understanding of the importance of hygiene and cleanliness in a kitchen setting
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and contributing positively to the team atmosphere
Pay: $17.60-$17.70 per hour
