Overview

We are seeking energetic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our Food Service and Catering team. This position provides support in both daily food service operations and special events, offering a variety of responsibilities in kitchen preparation, customer service, and banquet operations.

Food Service & Kitchen Support
Assist with food preparation, meal assembly, and portioning.
Prepare and serve food according to recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
Receive, rotate, and store food products according to food safety standards.
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
Follow all health, safety, and food handling procedures.

Catering & Banquet Service
Set up banquet rooms, buffets, and catering stations.
Serve food and beverages at meetings, receptions, conferences, and special events.
Assist with event setup, service, and teardown.
Ensure event spaces remain clean, organized, and guest-ready.




Provide qualified and friendly customer service to guests and clients.
Support catering managers and event coordinators during functions.

Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, catering, hospitality, or customer service is an asset.
Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
Smart Serve Certification is an asset (required when alcohol service is involved).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced team workplace.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
